After finishing the second half of my spring semester junior year remotely from my childhood home, I wanted to take a break from screens. I was excited to start my summer internship as a footwear and apparel graphics designer, and I channeled that energy into giving new life to my old pair of hi-tops. These Chucks have been worn into the ground and I wanted to thank them by painting and embroidering them—expressing my mindset throughout quarantine in a therapeutic and wearable way.
