As someone who’s too chicken to get her own tattoos, I’ve always been fascinated by other peoples’ ink. This book gave me an excuse to interview friends and family about the stories and meanings behind their tattoos as I built a small archive documenting their body art.
This book was created entirely by hand. I printed the content myself, then coptic bound each signature and created a French fold hardcover with cloth-covered book board.
